Born and raised in Decatur, Illinois, Joseph has long possessed an enthusiasm for advocating for people who have been wrongfully and negligently affected by the actions of others, namely asbestos-related and personal injury victims.

During law school, Joseph clerked for OnderLaw, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri, assisting in the representation of over 25,000 people as a part of a mass tort action against Johnson & Johnson involving their talcum powder products and its link to ovarian cancer. During that time, he cultivated his trial preparation skills, as well as deepened his enthusiasm for advocating for those people whom we were privileged to represent in their pursuit of equitable recovery. In 2018, Joseph worked at the Mel Carnahan Courthouse in Downtown St. Louis where he studied the legal history of the city and its inhabitants, going back over 200 years and assisted in the preservation, digitization and restoration of hundreds of court documents.
