With decades of experience practicing law, Kerry is a valuable asset in helping victims and families affected by mesothelioma and asbestos-related diseases.

In her current role, Kerry utilizes her extensive experience and legal expertise to advocate for mesothelioma victims, pursuing damages from corporations’ bankruptcy trusts. Her dedication to this cause has deep roots in a formative experience from her teenage years.

Reflecting on her past, Kerry shared how a car accident during her teenage years, for which she was not responsible, led to significant medical bills and vehicle repairs. Hiring an attorney to assist in recouping some of those costs highlighted for Kerry the importance of having an ally in such situations. This firsthand experience ignited her desire to support others facing similar challenges.

Prior to joining Flint Cooper, Kerry managed the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Program for a local law firm. Her professional journey includes trying jury cases, handling over 100 workers’ compensation cases, and representing injured workers at the appellate court level. Kerry’s diverse skill set encompasses negotiating settlements, contract review, analyzing medical records, and extensive legal writing. She also gained experience in family law, assisting clients through divorce proceedings, and handling personal injury cases.
